"Choose your colors custom mini skein gradient set"
This listing is for five individually dyed solid colors in a gradient of your choosing! Choose your start and ending colors, and we'll do the rest. For example, choose "Pastel" for a starting color, then "Electric Violet" for the end color, and we'll give you a gradient of almost white to darker purple. Or be adventurous and choose something like yellow to blue, and you'll get a mix of green in the middle as the starting colors fade into each other.
By default, this is dyed on our Schmoozie mini base which is 75/25 Superwash Merino/Nylon 4 ply. Each 20g mini skein is 92.6 yards, giving you 463 yards total to work with.
*** The color card shows a fraction of the available dye colorways that we have, but please keep in mind that all monitors can display color differently and these colors are only meant to give you an idea of what they will look like in person. Some variation from the color card is normal. If you choose the "Pastel" option (at the bottom of the list), please note that we'll start with the most saturated/dark version of the other color and slowly make it lighter. Example photos show what we mean by this with our Elven Lily colorway, Aged Brass, and Avocado colorway. ***

Care:
Superwash wool is special because it is treated in such a way that it will not felt the way normal wool does, so it your stitches will remain crisp. That being said, we still suggest hand washing your item when you finish making it, and laying it flat to dry, just as you would with any hand made item.
As with all hand dyed items, we recommend hand washing your yarn/finished item in cool water and laying it flat to dry. We rinse this yarn until the water runs crystal clear, but small amounts of excess dye may rarely come off with the first couple of washings. If this happens, rest assured that it is only excess dye and should not affect the coloring of your yarn in any way. If a large amount of bleeding ever occurs with any of our items, please contact us so we can make it right. We always recommend hand washing hand made items to preserve the longevity of your beautiful work.
We recommend using cool water and a neutral soap (if any), such as baby shampoo, when blocking your finished item if you are knitting or crocheting it. A drop of soap is all that is needed to break the water tension and wet the yarn. Soaking it to block it is neither necessary nor recommended.
