11/20/24: Current wait times are 4weeks on average for most dyed to order orders. We're busier than normal due to the holidays and I'm working as fast as I can. Larger orders can take longer (those orders with tons of separate colorways), but it will very rarely go over 4 weeks in any case.
All of our yarn is dyed to order (excluding ready to ship yarn from the ready to ship section). This is special because it allows you to choose your base and color combination. Dyeing yarn takes time, as I am also the caregiver of our disabled daughter and on bad days I can't work as much as I can on good days.
Many orders will ship sooner than the time-frame posted above. If I already have to dye a colorway when you order it, it could go out within mere days.
If you need your order in a hurry -- for a gift, before a special day, etc, please check with me before ordering. Send me an email, and I'll reply as quickly as possible. If you don't hear from me, please check your spam folder. I'll never ignore you. I can't guarantee I can get it out quickly, but it doesn't hurt to ask and I can try to make it happen if I have a heads up. I will always try.
****** If you want your yarn immediately, please don’t order dyed-to-order. I will be offering ready to ship yarn from our ready to ship section only. If you're ordering both ready to ship yarn and dyed to order I'll ship them separately 90% of the time, unless I plan to ship your dyed order very quickly because I already need to dye that colorway. I don't want you to have to wait long for your ready to ship yarn. We cover the cost of shipping on all domestic orders over $100.
