"Unicorn Mini Pastel Rainbow Set"
These sets are absolutely perfect for creating controlled stripes in socks and all colorwork knitting.
This listing is for six individual solid colors of a pastel rainbow. Each skein is 20 grams. This is a dyed to order listing and takes our standard shipping timeframe to send (usually less than a week).
By default, this is dyed on our 2-ply Silver Voo base which is 80/15/5 SW Merino/Sparkle Stellina. Each 20g mini skein is 87.4 yards, giving you 524 yards total to work with. If you prefer a 4-ply non-sparkle (for socks, etc), just message me or leave a note with your order and I'll change the base I dye it on.
Every skein that you receive will look very similar to what you see in the photos (really, there isn't ever much variation with solids), but please keep in mind that we dye every order as it comes in and some variation is still possible. And as always, while we take multiple photos to show the yarn in various lights, all monitors can display color differently so please keep that in mind.

Care:
Superwash merino is special because it is treated in such a way that it will not felt the way normal wool does, so it your stitches will remain crisp. That being said, we still suggest hand washing your item when you finish making it, and laying it flat to dry, just as you would with any hand made item.
As with all hand dyed items, we recommend hand washing your yarn/finished item in cool water and laying it flat to dry. We rinse this yarn until the water runs crystal clear, but small amounts of excess dye may rarely come off with the first couple of washings. If this happens, rest assured that it is only excess dye and should not affect the coloring of your yarn in any way. If a large amount of bleeding ever occurs with any of our items, please contact us so we can make it right. We always recommend hand washing hand made items to preserve the longevity of your beautiful work.
We recommend using cool water and a neutral soap (if any), such as baby shampoo, when blocking your finished item if you are knitting or crocheting it.
