This yarn has a super silky look and feel to it. Cotton yarn does not tend to feel as soft and squishy as wool yarn when it's spun up, but it does seem to get softer with a few washings over time, as most cellulose fibers do. This is a nice option if you have a wool allergy or are vegan. While cotton (even organic) is less eco friendly than wool, it is still a lot better than acrylic and other more common wool alternatives.
