There is something absolutely magical about simple, undyed luxury yarn. It is a blank canvas that you can either sit back and admire as-is, or you can choose to dye it yourself.
This is a wonderful and luxurious yarn. Unlike cultivated silk, Tussah Silk is harvested after the months are allowed to freely hatch out of their cocoons unharmed. This is why it is often called " Peace Silk." Because the cocoon is chewed during the hatching process, the silk is not as smooth as cultivated silk, resulting in a more grabby yarn. It's still very soft, ultra shiny, and takes dye beautifully.
Priced per one skein.
